In just Sarah's first game at Pacific, Sarah tallied her first shot on goal against Saint Mary's on Aug. 21. In all, Grable took seven shots in 2009, with one on goal. Grable was awarded her first start in a neutral site contest against Fordham on Sept. 13, when Pacific won 2-0. During that contest, Sarah took one shot against the Rams.<b>Previous School (Southwestern College):</b><br>Sarah used her redshirt option at Southwestern College in Chula Vista, Calif., before transferring to Pacific for the 2009 spring semester.<b>High School:</b><br>A 2008 graduate of Bonita Vista High School in Chula Vista, Calif., Grable left her mark on the team as the Barons' leading-scorer her junior and senior years with 23 goals scored in 2008. Not only was she the leading scorer, but Sarah also notched the second most assists on her squad and took the most shots among any player. As a senior, she helped lead the squad to a 17-8-1 finish, as they also went 6-4-1 in the Metro-Mesa League.<b>Club:</b><br>Outside of high school, Grable played for the Nomads Soccer Club in San Diego, Calif., under Brian McManus, head coach of the soccer program at UC San Diego. As she excelled in high school play, Sarah also filled her role as the team's leading scorer with the Nomads, notching at least one goal each time she played in the 2007 and 2008 seasons.<b>Personal:</b><br>Born in Chula Vista, Calif., she is the daughter of David Grable and Fema Grable-Arrington. Sarah is the sister of two siblings, Rachel and David. At Pacific, she is majoring in liberal studies.
